The HEART Classic Basketball Tournament will take place over two exciting days, filled with competitive games, special events, and community engagement activities. From honoring the legacy of Orlando “OJ” Johnson to celebrating Richmond’s vibrant community, this is a weekend you won’t want to miss!

8:00 AM - 7:00 PM:

Pool Games for teams

Pool games for boys and girls youth divisions (ages 7+) and adult league games. Register now.

12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Mural Unveiling and Reception

Dedication of a mural honoring Orlando “OJ” Johnson at the PAL facility. Keynote speech and a vision presentation by N’dea Johnson. Cocktail-style reception with appetizers, music, spoken word, and art.

Championship games for teams

Pool Games and Championship Rounds: Teams will compete for medals and trophies.

12:00 - 1:30

All Star lunch hour

Dunk Contest, Three-Point Contest, and Trick-Shot Challenge.

Community leaders, former athletes, and politicians will share inspiring messages.

Resource Fair: Explore mental health and wellness resources while enjoying the showcase.
